Bridgette Guerzon Mills
A couple of weeks ago, I took a class with Judy Wise in Cedarburg. Bridgette Guerzon Mills was in the class as well. She brought along her journal, which was entirely made by her. It was so cool, the cover was a beautiful encaustic and the pages filled with color, texture, photos and her thoughts. Her work is fantastic. I love her encaustic paintings, so rich with imagery and texture. I enjoy her journals as well. She is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet.

The Hermitage
Rima Staines' work is what I would consider contemporay medievel. Her clocks are tremendous! She works not only on paper, but on log slices. Her drawings are wonderful. She works in watercolor and oil. Fabulous illustrator!

Jean's Clay Studio
Jean Smaglik Wells was also at the Hidden River Art Festival. Her stoneware pottery is wonderfully unique, she works using a technique called slip carving. Her designs are fun, whimsical, nature themed. She makes everything imaginable. Awesome work!
