Marvin Hill Blockprints
Marvin Hill's blockprints are wonderfully crafted. He carved his designs into wood or linoleum and prints them with black ink, then Wendy paints them with watercolors. His work was inspired by his dreams and the books he read. The dimensional pieces are intricate. I enjoy looking at art that is witty and also makes me think. Since Marvin's passing in 2003, his wife Wendy continues carrying on his work. Delightful!
